Kurtzman Wins a Monster Pot with Ace-High

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The 10842 turn was already on the felt and Eric Kurtzman was in the big blind and checked to Yannick Capocetti who was on his immediate left as dropped 18,900 into the pot of 38,200.

Kurtzman thought about it for about a minute, and made the call.

The 2 paired the board on the river, and Kurtzman checked once more. Capocetti tapped the table, and Kurtzman announced, "Just an ace," as he rolled A3 face up.

Capocetti mucked his hand as the other players at the table gasped in disbelief.
