Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jack Effel has just announced shuffle up and deal after giving the players the gameplan and some words of advice. The tension in the air can already be felt as play begins 12 players away from the money.

Weng Starts With a Four-Bet

Kim Fells Azout Short of the Money

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Laurent Azout moved all in for 26,000 from early position and was looked up by Brian Kim in late position.

Laurent Azout: A3 All in
Brian Kim: A4

Azout was not in great shape and could be heard asking for a chop as the dealer fanned the 5Q8 flop. The Q turn did seem to grant Azout's wish but the 4 river paired up Kim to send Azout out of the tournament a few spots shy of the money.

Clussman Risks It With Big Slick

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Zakhar Galper opened to 17,000 in middle position and Chat Clussman three-bet jammed a stack of 88,000 from the hijack. The players behind him tanked and action eventually folded to Galper, who also folded.

Before dragging in the pot, Clussman showed the table AK.

"It's not the hand I wanted to shove with," he said. "I appreciate everyone folding."

Zaskodny Catches Barbero Speeding

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nacho Barbero opened the action with a raise to 16,000 from early position. Lukas Zaskodny three-bet to 43,000 on the button and Barbero made the call.

Zaskodny continued for 50,000 on 23J and Barbero called.

Both players checked the 10 turn before Barberbo asked for all of Zaskodny's chips firing out 290,000 on the 6 river. Zaskodny called it off for his tournament life and he was glad he did. Barbero tabled A4 for a bluff and Zaskodny rolled over KK earning him an early double up.
