Short-stacked Preston McEwen opened to 7,000 from his 8,500 stack and the action folded to David Chen, who thought long and hard about it but decided to fold, and then James Weilbacher moved all in for around 28,000 right behind him.

"Agh, well at least it was a sweat!" McEwen said as he made his way towards the exit while Chen was kicking himself for folding pocket threes.
The player under the gun raised to 6,000. Rabih Makdessi, sat to their direct left, three-bet to 12,000. The original raiser called.
The A♥5♥5♦ flop saw the under the gun player check. Makdessi thought about his decision before putting in a sizable continuation of 23,500, earning a swift fold from his opponent.
The player in early position moved all in for 18,500 and the player on the button called and Dmitri Nobles also moved all in and the button called off the rest of his chips. Nobles had the dominant stack.
