Yong Gets A Double Up With Pocket Queens

There has been no shortage of all-ins in the first level of play, as many players came into Day 2 on a short stack.

Cassandra Yong had just around ten big blinds when she open-shoved all in from the button preflop. The small blind folded and the big blind decided to call.

Yong had a very strong hand for her stack and position and was able to get a light call from the big blind. The board ran out 2104Q2 and Yong was able to avoid elimination and double up.

Ringler Doubles His Stack with Flush

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The player in the cutoff raised to 60,000 and the player on the button three-bet to 150,000 and Brice Ringler four-bet all in to 465,000. The cutoff folded and in the confusion Ringler exposed his cards before the button had made a decision. The play continued and the button asked for a count and then made the call.

The table was in shock regarding the call. The board ran out with 743KJ and Ringler hit the second nut flush for the nice scoop.

Truong Stays Alive with Set of Jacks

Level 21 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Oleksii Haievskyi raised to 60,000 from middle position and Gus Vergos called from late position, Kris Prickett called from the button and Loan Truong four-bet all in for 415,000. Everyone called the four-bet. The flop came out as J810 and everyone checked to Prickett who moved all in for 600,000 and it was heads up as the other two players were forced to fold.

The turn 4 and river 9 did not alter the fact that Truong won with a set of jacks.
