Moments before the Day 3 dinner break in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, controversy struck at one table inside the Horseshoe Event Center.

As the field was heading to break, a possible angle-shoot occurred, and another player who wasn't even in the hand had to be escorted out of the room and was penalized.

Nakamura Takes From Grieshaber

Gene Grieshaber raised to 75,000 from middle position with Ricardo Nakamura making he call from the button.

The flop fell AQ6. Grieshaber bet 105,000 and immediately got raised to 300,000 by Nakamura. It didn't take long for Grieshaber to fold his hand and forfeit the pot to Nakamura.

With a little over 2,000,000 in the middle the completed board of 443102 was on the table and Ryan Hughes who was under the gun had checked to Michael Isasi on the button before facing a bet of 800,000.

Hughes went in the tank for about 40 seconds before sliding a raise to 2,400,000 across the line. Isasi snap-mucked as he said, "I thought you had aces."

Inoue Gets the Double Up

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Yoshihiro Inoue in the hijack and Melissa Riahei in the big blind.

With about 675,000 in the pot and the board reading A1055, Riahei checked and Inoue moved all in for 490,000, putting himself at risk. After some contemplating, Riahei made the call.
