Battle of the Not-So Blind

Level 3 : Limits 400/800, 0 ante

Heads up on a board of 9810 Ben Scholl and Peter Lynn were awaiting the floor's ruling while they looked idly at a 6 off to the side. It was soon revealed that after the dealer had burned for the turn, the 6 sat on the top of the deck face up, which no one had noticed until the card above it had been burned.

The floor removed the box card from play by putting it into the muck and ruled that a new turn would be presented. The A rolled off the deck and both players quickly checked.

The river came the K and both players checked again.

Scholl rolled over the 85 and Lynn laughed and admitted he would have liked the other turn card better when he showed the 86 as the dealer chopped the pot.
