Players folded around to Duc Nguyen in the small blind. He limped in. Lukas Hafner in the big blind made it 3,500,000. Nguyen then three-bet to 12,000,000 and Hafner, after a few moments of thinking, went all in. Nguyen quickly called.

Hafner was at risk with the dominated ace. The flop 7♦2♦5♥ did not change much, Hafner needed a jack or running hearts for the win. The turn 7♣ and 6♣ did not work out for him and he was sent to the rail, while Nguyen added a pile of chips to his stack, extending his chip lead.

Action started with a raise by Rosen Apostolov from the cutoff to 7,000,000. Anthony Ruttler was in the small blind and raised all in. Avi Cohen in the big blind had 6,500,000 chips and called all in. He thought all players were all in and flipped over his cards. Apostolov, who had had only around a million chips behind thought for a while and then sigh-called.

Ruttler was ahead before the flop and Apostolov was in the worst position. However, this soon changed on the flop of 2♠10♣4♦, which put Apostolov in the lead.

The turn 6♥ and river Q♦ changed nothing for the main or side pot, and Apostolov near-tripled-up. Cohen’s ace-king lost the side pot to Ruttler’s nines and he was out of the tournament.
