Alexandre Reard opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and Aram Zobian defended his big blind.

On the 7♠5♥2♣ flop, both players checked to the 7♣ turn. Zobian led for 145,000, and Reard called.

A 9♣ fell on the river and Zobian fired another bet of 230,000. Reard then raised to 975,000, and after some thinking, Zobian called.

Reard tabled 9♥7♥ for a full house, and Zobian mucked.

Not long ago Fahredin Mustafov was down to just one big blind. Since then, he has won a number of all-ins to climb back into contention.

Mustafov moved all in for 520,000 in the small blind and was called by Michael Rocco in the big blind.

Michael Rocco: J♥8♥

Mustafov was marginally ahead and held on the A♦7♥6♣10♥3♣ runout to secure his first double.

On the very next hand, Mustafov shoved for 1,100,000 on the button and, as before, it was Rocco who looked him up out of the small blind.

Fahredin Mustafov: A♣Q♣ All in
Michael Rocco: 6♦6♥

This time it was a flip but Mustafov prevailed once more after pairing up on the 4♦Q♦10♥2♣J♠ runout to regain a workable stack.

Brad Albrinck limped the small blind and Alexandre Reard checked his option.

When the J♥6♥2♠ flop hit the felt, Albrinck check-called a bet of 100,000.

The K♦ turn was checked through to see the K♣ on the river, and Albrinck checked once more. Reard fired 275,000 across the line and Albrinck tank-called.

Reard tabled 6♠4♥ for two pair before Albrinck mucked his hand.

Procop Makes the Right Check Back

Egor Procop opened the cutoff to 180,000 and Michael Rocco called from the big blind.

On the 4♥5♣A♣ flop, both players checked to the K♠ turn where Rocco checked, Procop bet 200,000, and Rocco called.

A 10♣ landed on the river where Rocco checked, then Procop took his time before he checked back.

Rocco tabled J♣4♣ for a flush, then Procop showed the rail his hand then mucked. Rocco called the floor to say that Procop should expose his hand as Adrian Mateos saw it, and the floor agreed. Procop then rolled over A♦10♦ for two pair.

In what was intended to be a conversation about a slew of near misses over his career, Michael Rocco flipped the script when he revealed that the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) would be his last full series for many years.

And the reason why he'll be reducing his volume at the tables may come as a bit of a shock.

During a break in Event #94: $10,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship, he told PokerNews that he has acquired a farm in the last year, and intends to shift his focus to that venture over his card-playing exploits.

On the A♠9♥5♣ flop, both players checked to the 7♣ turn. Mateos checked, Mustafov bet 275,000, and Mateos called.

A K♦ landed on the river and after Mateos checked, Mustafov shoved for around 2,000,000.

"I think you are bluffing," said Mateos quietly. Mustafov didn't respond and after a few moments, Mateos folded his hand.

Alexandre Reard opened to 200,000 from under the gun and received a call from Connor Rash in the cutoff.

Reard check-called a bet of 325,000 from Rash following the 9♠K♦7♥ flop.

Action checked through the J♠ turn to the 2♣ river at which point Reard led out for 225,000. Rash thought for a moment, then folded to concede the pot to his opponent.
