Paumier Calls Correctly on the River

The player on the button raised to 600 and both blinds came along for the ride which included Matt Paumier in the big blind. The flop came out with 5♥6♠2♣ and the small blind checked and Paumier came out swinging with a bet of 1,200. The button and the small blind both wanted to see the turn and called.
On the turn J♣ the small blind checked again and Paumier bet again for 2,500 and only the button called.
The river Q♦ had Paumier place the final bet of 3,500 but the button raised to 12,000 and Paumier took a moment to consider what the button had and then made the call.
The button mucked strongly before Paumier even showed his cards which were 10♠10♦ for the win.
