Benton Slow Plays the Full Boat
Level 15
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Evan Benton was in the small blind and limped and the big blind raised to 12,000 allowing Benton to flat call. The flop came out with K♣Q♠6♠ and both players checked.
On the turn 6♣ Benton checked and the big blind bet 20,000.
When the 5♠ fell on the river, Benton hoped his opponent would bet after he checked but the big blind sensed something fishy and checked behind and mucked when Benton flipped over K♠K♣ for the full house.
