This two-day event gets underway at 12 p.m. local time with late registration open for nine levels. This event allows for unlimited reentry. There will be 15-minute breaks every three levels, with a 60-minute dinner break at the end of Level 9 (~6:30 p.m.)
The starting stack is 30,000 chips with the plan for Day 1 to play 15 40-minute levels or down to 15 percent of the field, whichever is later. For the surviving players, Day 2 resumes at 12 p.m. on July 15 and plays down to a winner.

“Sometimes I used to doubt myself, because you know, how can I be playing for so long and I haven’t won many live tournaments,” Ventura said after his winner photos, “but then I was like God’s timing is the perfect timing”.

Action was caught on the turn with the board 10♣3♣A♣8♦.
Robert Huebsch bet 1,100 into a pot of around 4,000 chips from the big blind. His opponent on the button raised to 2,500. Huebsch called.
The river was the J♠. Huebsch checked and his opponent bet 3,100, which Huebsch quickly called. The button mucked and shook his head, while Huebsch was able to take down a chunky early pot without having to show his hand on the river.

The action was caught with two players looking at a board of 3♠Q♠5♣4♥. Dara O'Kearney, in the big blind, checked the action to Billy Baxter, who was under the gun. Baxter bet out 1,000 and O'Kearney check-raised to 5,100. Baxter moved all in for O'Kearney's effective stack of 29,300 and O'Kearney called.
Dara O'Kearney: A♥2♥
Billy Baxter: 4♠4♦
The action turn gave the Hall of Famer a set while O'Kearney held the wheel. The 9♥ river failed to pair the board and Baxter was left with dust.
With Baxter short, the button and cutoff both limped in. Baxter moved all in for his last 700, from the small blind. Adam Croffut, in the big blind, moved all in for his starting stack of 30,000 and both the limpers folded.
Billy Baxter: J♦9♠
Adam Croffut: 10♣6♦
Baxter was ahead, but the 3♥2♣5♥4♣4♥ runout saw Croffut make a straight to send him to the rail. Croffut claimed Baxter's bounty for $2,006.

Tom Kysar and Gualter Fortuna enjoyed a nice hand together. The player in the hijack raised to 300 and Kysar called from the cutoff and Fortuna called from the big blind. The flop was 8♦Q♦J♣ and the two out of position players checked to Fortuna who bet 700. The hijack got out of there and Kysar called.
On the turn A♠ Kysar put in the check raise to 4,200 after Fortuna bet 1,600. Fortuna made the call.
The river 9♦ had Kysar bet out 5,200 and Fortuna called. Kysar flipped over K♣10♠ and Fortuna showed K♦10♥ and the dealer chopped the pot.
