Maeda Wins Without Showdown

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Martin Jacobson raised to 80,000 from under the gun, Paraskevas Tsokaridis called out of the small blind. Akinobu Maeda then went all in and was at risk for 605,000 from the big blind. Jacobson folded quickly, but Tsokaridis needed some time to think before ultimately arriving at the same decision.

Niko Soininen open-jammed his 375,000-chip stack into the middle from the hijack. Aleksandr Zubov made the call in the cutoff and the button and blinds got out of the way.

A fair fight heading to see five community cards, the dealer put out 575J6 and Soininen caught a Jack to stay alive and double up.

Chase Leads on Turn and River

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Adam Hendrix opened the action in the cutoff with a raise to 80,000. Daniel Chase called in the small blind and Erik Seidel defended his big blind.

Hendrix continued for 55,000 on A53, only Chase called.

The turn Q rolled off and Chase led for 115,000. Hendrix made the call.

Chase fired 185,000 on the K river, but Hendrix laid it down.

Kamei Doubles Through Zubov

Christopher Stevenson opened the action with a raise to 80,000 from the cutoff. Gustavo Kamei three-bet to 200,000 from the button before Stevenson moved all in for 395,000. Kamei made the call.

The board ran out 943JA and luckily Stevenson held a diamond in his hand, earning him a full double up.

Salem Chipping Up

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Luan Coelho raied to 80,000 from early position and was called by Naseem Salem in middle position, Aleksandr Zubov in the small blind and Christopher Stevenson in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 103A, Luan Coelho bet 75,000. Salem then raised to 225,000, which prompted all of his opponents to fold.
