Lin Septuples His Stack
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ren Lin got involved in back-to-back pots and was down to just a single yellow chip, which is worth 1,000, before he spiked the river to septuple his stack.
First, Lin's J♣10♠ couldn't improve against his opponent's A♦10♥ on the K♥K♠7♣A♣5♦ runout.
Then, Lin got his stack of 1,000 into the pot against two opponents.
Ren Lin: 6♦2♦
Cutoff: A♥J♦
Early Position: 7♣7♥
It looked to be a short-lived tournament for Lin but the runout of 3♦Q♥4♠J♠5♠ saw him spike a straight on the river to survive.
