Bernabeu Picks Up Two Bounties in Two Hands
Level 26
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Samuel Bernabeu just scored back-to-back knockouts to earn himself two bounties.
First, Bernabeu shoved from the hijack with a monster stack and Charles Cunha called in the big blind for around ten big blinds.
Charles Cunha: A♠10♦
Samuel Bernabeu: Q♠J♣
Bernabeu spiked a queen on the Q♣7♠7♥9♦2♠ runout to eliminate Cunha.
In the very next hand, Bernabeu shoved for over 7,000,000 from middle position and Andrew Cook called for 535,000 from the next seat.
Andrew Cook: A♠J♥
Samuel Bernabeu: 8♣7♣
Bernabeu caught a pair on the 3♥8♦6♥ flop, but Cook took the lead on the A♦ turn. However, Bernabeu was still running hot as the 7♥ rolled off, giving him two pair and sending Cook out.
