Nguyen, with only about 2,500,000 behind, called risking his tournament life.

Nguyen was ahead with a flopped pair but Zollo had outs including a flush draw. Zollo took the lead when his flush was completed with the K♦ turn. The inconsequential 4♣ river was dealt sealing Nguyen's fate.
Zollo fist pumped the air before scooping the pot as Nguyen left the table.
