Long Nguyen raised to 250,000 from middle position. Leonardo Deborba then three bet from the cutoff to 750,000, Nguyen made the call.
The dealer spread a K♦8♠6♣ flop and both players checked. The turn was the Q♥ Nguyen bet 450,000 and Debora called. The river was the 6♦, this time Nguyen bet 525,000, Deborba called and was shown Q♠Q♣ as he slid his cards towards the dealer
Play was already underway with around 400,000 chips in middle and a flop of 3♣7♣7♠. With action passed to him by the blinds, George Devlin fired 325,000 in the pot. Norman Rodriguez, in the small blind, folded but Eric Worre called to see the next street.
Worre checked 5♦ turn and Devlin kept the pressure with a 700,000 bet after a few seconds of thought. The river 10♦ was knuckled by both players.
Worre, who had a flush draw on the flop, tabled 10♣5♣ for top two pair with the board. Devlin, unsure of whether to just muck his cards, decided to show 6♣6♦.
Joesph Spanne raised all in from middle position for 1,500,000 and the action folded to Prasad Dobbins who asked for a count. After a short while Dobbins made the call from the big blind.
Joesph Spanne: Q♠J♥
Prasad Dobbins: 8♦8♣
The dealer laid down the flop of 8♠9♣3♣ flopping middle set for Dobbins with the eight in the window. Spanne was looking for a ten to make a straight to stay alive.
The turn brought no help as the 2♦ hit the felt.
With the river card of the A♥ Spanne was sent to the rail and Dobbins claimed his bounty.
