Acevedo Holds to Send Ellerbe Out

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Michael Acevedo
Michael Acevedo

Michael Acevedo raised from under the gun to 2,400,000 and Diana Allen called in the cutoff. Mark Ellerbe shoved from the small blind for 11,250,000 and after some thinking, Acevedo called. Allen folded.

Mark Ellerbe: KQ All in
Michael Acevedo: A10

Ellerbe was behind and didn't catch any of the 546 flop. An A on the turn sealed it as Acevedo paired his ace, which left Ellerbe drawing dead. The J river was just a formality, and Ellerbe headed to the exit.

Scary Board for Eilers

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Benjamin Eilers raised from early position to 2,500,000, and Weizheng Zhong called from the small blind.

Both players checked the 4KA flop.

The turn brought the 10 and both players knuckled the table again. The river saw the K and again both players checked.

Eilers let out a sigh of relief as he saw that his QQ was good and he was pushed the pot.

Saeyang Leaves the Floor in High Spirits

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Peter Saeyang found himself with only 700,000 behind after putting in the big blind. Ever the sport, he held his bounty up and told the whole table, "All you can eat guys," even before the cards were dealt.

After the hole cards were dealt, he went, "I'm not even going to look." So when Michael Wilklow opened to 7,000,000 in middle position and action was folded to him, Saeyang snap-called with his remaining chips.

Peter Saeyang: J2 All in
Michael Wilklow: KQ

The flop came Q9A immediately giving Wilklow a pair which made Saeyang start packing his bags. Seeming to be the most popular guy on the table, he started saying his goodbyes to everyone as the runout 46 was completed.

With a smile, he bid everyone good luck as Wilklow scooped the pot.

Lose Some, Win Some

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Mark Ellerbe shoved all in from middle position and was called by Brian Kelley in the small blind.

Mark Ellerbe: A9 All in
Brian Kelley: AK

Ellerbe knew he was in trouble with the dominated hand and it ran out per the odds, with Kelley taking more than 8 million chips on a board that ran out 58A57.

Undeterred, Ellerbe was again all-in the next hand under the gun, for 3,550,000. Jeffrey Hong, seated to Ellerbe's left, made the call, but then bowed out when Benjamin Eilers made an all-in bet.

Mark Ellerbe: A5 All in
Benjamin Eilers: KK

It didn't take long for Ellerbe to overtake Eilers' kings, as the flop hit A5J. His pair held on turn and river of 47.

Aces For Double KO

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Linda Ngo
Linda Ngo

Robert Rothstein went all-in for 4,500,000 chips sitting in early position. Linda Ngo called from middle position, and Caleb King went all-in for ~4,500,000 more. Ngo called once again.

Robert Rothstein: QJ All in
Caleb King: A10 All in
Linda Ngo: AA

A clean runway for the American Airlines of Ngo on a K43Q6 board, and she secured herself two bounties and an 80,000,000 chip stack.

Allen Collects the Last of Mckay's Stack

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Diana Allen made it 4,000,000 from the hijack and Jamey Mckay shoved the button for around 10,000,000. After getting the count, Allen tossed in calling chips.

Jamey Mckay: K10 All in
Diana Allen: QJ

Mckay was in front, but not for long as the 10J9 flop gave Allen a pair and open-ended straight draw. Mckay had a straight draw of his own but never found it when the 4 hit the turn. Both players improved on the K river as Mckay made two pair, but it was no good as Allen improved to a straight to secure the knockout.
