It's Chilly Out There

Jenyue Chiang found himself on the wrong side of a cooler early on, in a pot versus Blake Ovind.

Chiang moved all in on a Q♣4♠J♣J♥2♦ board, with two other players, Ovind included, still to act behind him.

Action folded to Ovind, who snap-called, risking his tournament life.

Jenyue Chiang: 4♦4♣
Blake Ovind: Q♥Q♠ All in

Full house over full house, and Ovind scoops the pot.

On a nearby table, Paul Brunet was having similar issues.

In a pot versus Dinh Nguyen, Brunet had flopped top two pair on Q♦7♦4♦, all the money went in on the 3♣ turn, and Nguyen gave Brunet the bad news.

Dinh Nyugen: K♦2♦ All in
Paul Brunet: Q♣7♥

The river A♥ wasn't enough to save Brunet as he doubled up his opponent.
