After 22 levels of intense play, Day 1 of Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas has officially wrapped. A whopping 6,090 entries stormed the field, generating a massive $3,069,360 prize pool—not bad for a $600 buy-in. At the end of this Deepstack marathon, one player will walk away with $318,842 and, of course, the ultimate poker fashion accessory: a WSOP gold bracelet.

Leading the charge into Day 2 is Taha Benhmama, who bagged an eye-popping 3,165,000 chips. If he can hold on, this will be a career-defining cash for Benhmama.

France's Sacha Guerrero bagged up 2,635,000 chips, though for second place, with Mukul Pahuja (2,595,000) rounding out the podium places.

Cashes, Characters & Chaos

Plenty of big names are among the 301 surviving players returning for Day 2 on June 2. They include Blair Hinkle (2,135,000), Jeremy Wien (1,460,000), Kevin Song (760,000), Martin Kabrhel (555,000), Darren Rabinowitz (376,000), and Alen Bakovic (215,000)

Bubble Madness

The money bubble was absolutely chaotic, as nine players busted simultaneously before the floor staff could even intervene. The result? A chopped bubble prize with each walking away with $800, a story, and probably a little confusion.

Once that bubble burst, the eliminations came fast and furious. The final 301 players are now guaranteed a payday of $1,891, but the real prize is still ahead.

What’s Next?

Day 2 resumes on June 2 at 11 a.m. (local time) in the Horseshoe Ballroom (Red Section). Players will return to Level 22 (10,000/25,000 with a 25,000 big blind ante) with 10 minutes left on the clock. Breaks are scheduled every four levels, and a dinner break will be added at the tournament director's discretion.

The goal? Play down to a winner. Stick with PokerNews for full coverage of this event and everything happening during the 2025 World Series of Poker from Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
