Welcome back to the PokerNews coverage of Event #11: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty at the 2025 World Series of Poker, held at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
Play began with 130 players, and also 130 bounties. 93 players made the money, and the bubble burst when two-time bracelet winner Santhosh Suvarna was eliminated.
Any mystery bounty tournament always has the side element of who will draw the biggest bounty. In this tournament, the largest bounty is worth $250,000. That bounty still hasn't been opened, and creates an interesting dynamic for today's final table. With five players remaining in the tournament, this bounty awards more than fourth place money.
We did see three $100,000 get pulled yesterday. The players that hit those were Frank Brannan, Myles Mullaly and Michael Moncek.
Here how things stand heading into today's final table:
Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty Remaining Players
| Seat | Player | Country | Chip Count | Big Blinds |
| 1 | James Mendoza | United States | 10,620,000 | 42 |
| 2 | Richard Green | United States | 4,600,000 | 18 |
| 3 | Alejandro Peinado | Spain | 6,900,000 | 28 |
| 4 | Patrick Kennedy | United Kingdom | 4,250,000 | 17 |
| 5 | Yosef Fox | United States | 4,700,000 | 19 |
James Mendoza has the lead in chips, as he did for much of the latter stages of play last night. He's looking for his first WSOP bracelet, and had mentioned that he and his wife are expecting a child in October.
"If you hit the bounty, you have to name that kid 'Bounty'," joked Richard Green at the final table last night. This played into the overall light-hearted mood at this final table, where the players are happy to joke around and have fun. It serves as a good reminder that even when playing for a lot of money, poker is supposed to be a fun game.
In addition to that $250,000 bounty, there's also a $50,000 bounty chest still to be opened. Here's what's left to be played for in terms of payouts:
Remaining Payouts
| Place | Prize (In USD) |
| 1 | $729,333 |
| 2 | $486,192 |
| 3 | $336,594 |
| 4 | $237,123 |
| 5 | $170,036 |
Play resumes at 12:00 PM local time here in Las Vegas at the Horseshoe Event Center. The blinds will begin at 125,000/250,000/250,000. Be sure to stay locked in to PokerNews for coverage of this final table to see who claims the bounty, the bracelet, and the top prize.
