Seiver Stands Pat With Ace-King and Wins

Level 6 : 300/600, 900 ante

The action has been fast and loose at Table 292, with Huck Seed and Scott Seiver both playing a lot of hands and chipping up with some aggressive plays. Seed recounted to PokerNews a particularly wild hand from one of the first levels of the tournament.

According to Seed, he opened to 900 and received two callers before Scott Seiver three-bet to 5,500. Seed folded before the next player shoved for 17,000. Action then folded back around to Seiver who called with a covering stack and stood pat.

Seiver's opponent drew one, tabled 10x8x3x2x and paired after catching a three. Surprisingly, Seiver had stood pat with AxKxJx10x3x which was good at showdown to eliminate his opponent.
