Ruben Hero Calls Phillips' Pat

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Han Liu raised to 80,000 from the hijack, and Brad Ruben called in the cutoff. Tyler Phillips then three-bet to 300,000 from the small blind, which only Ruben called.

Phillips remained pat, while Ruben drew one card. Phillips then piled in 600,000 chips, sending Ruben into the tank.

"Why so much?" Ruben asked before the dealer told him he could not ask that question.

After several minutes, Ruben slammed in a call.

"Good call," Phillips told Ruben. In response, Ruben tabled Kx7x6x4x2x for a king-low, and Phillips tossed his cards into the muck.

"I just go with my instinct, it's what I do," Ruben explained as he raked in the big pot.
