Overton Wins One, Loses One

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Aaron Overton opened to 200,000 on the button and David Jackson called in the big blind.

The flop came J1010 and both checked to the J turn, where Jackson led for 170,000 and Overton called.

A 9 dropped on the river and a bet of 850,000 from Jackson got the job done as Overton folded.

In he next hand, Overton raised again from the cutoff to 200,000 and Shundan Xiao defended her big blind.

On the 710J flop, Xiao checked and Overton fired 200,000. Xiao then put in a check-raise to 650,000, which Overton called.

It then checked to showdown on the J2 runout, where Xiao showed Q9 for a busted straight draw, and Overton showed his own missed straight draw with KQ, but took it down with king-high.
