Tetsuma Ishizu
Tetsuma Ishizu

Tetsuma Ishizu jammed all-in from under the gun and immediately got called by the man on his left, Eshaan Bhalla, after the dealer finished the count. Everyone got out of the way leaving the two players to head to showdown.

Tetsuma Ishizu: AQ All in
Eshaan Bhalla: 88

Before the deal, Bhalla stated, "I hope they hold this time," and sure enough they did. The flop came K38 cementing Bhalla's lead with a set prompting Ishizu to take out his phone and take a photo of the hand as it completed with a 4A runout.

Ishizu headed to the payout counter as Bhalla scooped the pot.

Lomuscio Runs Into Aces

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Giuseppe Lomuscio
Giuseppe Lomuscio

Giuseppe Lomusciora called an under-the-gun raise of 80,000 from the big blind, then liked the flop 6109 enough to shove his remaining 450,000 chips into the pot. Christopher Staats made the call.

Giuseppe Lomusciora: 103
Christopher Staats: AA

Staats' aces held through the runout of 2K. Lomuscio was left with only 60,000 chips, a third of which would be required as the small blind in the next hand.

When the action got back to him, Lomuscio chose to go all in against Oscar Johansson.

Giuseppe Lomuscio: A9All in
Oscar Johansson: K10

Lomuscio was ahead after the flop Q410, but Johannson paired his king on the turn of K and the river 7 didn't change a thing.

Wade Unfazed with Jackson's Stern Look

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Jackson opened to 80,000 in hijack and was giving everyone on his table who was still to act a stern look. They folded until it reached the big blind Tristan Wade who called prompting Jackson an almost imperceptible eye roll.

The flop came 6A6 and action went check-check through the 8 turn. On the J river, Wade fired 60,000 and Jackson called.

Wade showed A5 prompting Jackson to muck his hand.

Boivin Keeps the Pressure On to Take It Down

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Yoann Rubele opened the action from the button with a raise to 80,000, and Thomas Boivin responded from the small blind by 3-betting to 280,000. Rubele made the call to see a flop.

The dealer spread 103K, and Boivin continued his aggression with a bet of 300,000. Rubele didn’t take long to call.

When the 2 hit the turn, Boivin kept the pressure on with a bet of 400,000. Rubele took another glance at his cards but ultimately tossed them into the muck, conceding the pot to Boivin.

Marchington Sent to the Rail

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action folded around to Nicholas Marchington in the small blind who announced "all in" for 280,000 and David Jackson called in the big blind.

Nicholas Marchington: K5 All in
David Jackson: Q7

Jackson could not have flopped better with the dealer turning over 25J for a flopped flush, and Marchington was dead when the 8 hit the turn and the inconsequential A was dealt on the river.

Davenport Is a Sick Sick Man

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Damarjai Davenport
Damarjai Davenport

In a battle of the blinds, David Funkhouser completed in the small blind only for Damarjai Davenport to raise from the big blind to 125,000. Funkhouser called.

The flop came J22 and Funkhouser checked. Davenport gave his customary death stare to Funkhouser before putting out a bet of 90,000. Funkhouser called.

The turn brought the 4, and again, Funkhouser check called Davenport's 605,000 bet this time after a slightly longer death stare. The K dropped on the river, and again Funkhouser checked. Davenport moved all in for approximately 3,200,000 and had Funkhouser covered.

Funkhouser went into the tank for about three minutes before he reluctantly folded his hand. Davenport flipped over the 78 for total air and a sick bluff.

Jackson's Nice Hand

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Tristan Wade opened for 85,000 from under the gun and got called by David Jackson in cutoff.

Wade check-called on the 3410 flop after Jackson bet of 125,000. Same thing happened when Jackson bet 350,000 on the K turn.

After Wade's third check on the 9 river, Jackson looked at his chips, thought for a few seconds before knuckling after.

Wade showed A9 and let out a loud groan when Jackson showed A10 for a pair on the flop. All Wade could say was, "Nice Hand."
