Level 9
: Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Chino Rheem and John Pannucci were heads-up in a pot with around 60,000 in the middle and a flop of 8♣7♦5♣. After a bet and a couple of raises, the two players had all of their chips in the middle with Rheem at risk for around 240,000.
Chino Rheem: Q♠Q♥
John Pannucci: A♣A♦
Rheem needed to find a queen but was unable to do so on the 7♠, 9♣ runout which led to his elimination.
Next door, Noah Schwartz four-bet shoved all in for around 85,000 and was called by Shannon Shorr on his left. Schwartz held K♥Q♥ but was up against the A♣J♣ of Shorr.
The board ran out J♠9♠7♣5♣4♥ to give Shorr a pair of jacks and eliminate Schwartz.
