Wilson Turns The Wheel

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Matthew Kaplan raised to 3,000 in the cutoff and on the button, Dustin Ethridge three-bet to 8,000. Daquon Wilson called in the big blind and Kaplan called for his last 7,300.

The flop rolled out 357 and Wilson checked to Ethridge who bet 10,000, then folded when Wilson raised to 30,000.

Wilson improved on the 46 runout to a wheel and an eight-high straight to scoop Kaplan out of the tournament.

Benso Sends Tomlinson Out

Scott Tomlinson raised first to act and was three-bet by Kathy Liebert in middle position. Sergio Benso called cold in the small blind and Tomlinson called as well for a three-way pot.

Benso checked on the 584 flop and Tomlinson bet. Liebert let her hand go and Benso raised. Tomlinson called all in and a showdown was held.

The 36 runout left Benso best with two pair and the best low and Tomlinson was eliminated late in the evening.

From Getting Scooped To Scooping For Ramos

Action was picked up at table 244 with Gabe Ramos all in and at risk for 67,300 in the cutoff against Yu Liu in middle position.

The flop KK10 left both players with aces up, but the turn J gave Liu Broadway to pull ahead. On the river 10, the script was flipped once more as Ramos made a flush to scoop the pot and soar over six figures.

Action was picked up in a three-way pot between Yehuda Buchalter from under the gun, Robert Klein in the hijack, and Sachin Bhargava in the big blind. Klein was all in for his last 12,100, Bhargava was all in for 12,200, and Buchalter held the biggest stack covering them both.

Action checked to Pages, who continued for a bet on the J8K flop. Both Luo and Moncek called.

Luo led out for a bet on the 10 turn and Moncek called. Pages then raised and Luo made it three bets to go. Moncek called cold and Pages put in a four-bet. Luo capped it at 20,000 and both Moncek and Pages called.

The 3 completed the board and Luo bet. Moncek re-checked his hole cards and shook his head before folding. Pages raised and Luo raised all in. Pages called and revealed AAQ7 for Broadway.

Luo held AQ93 for the same straight and they split the pot.
