Woods Doubles Again; Defending Champ Out

Level 20

Big O

Three ways on a flop of 887, James Woods checked from the small blind and Christopher Alcindor bet 35,000. Daquon Wilson folded on the button and Woods called.

The A fell on the turn and Woods shoved for approximately 100,000 total. Alcindor asked for a count and tanked a bit before eventually calling to put Woods at risk.

James Woods: AQ632All in
Christopher Alcindor: A7554

Woods held the lead with a better ace and a low, and the 9 river changed nothing to award Woods the double up.

At another table, defending champion Magnus Edengren was eliminated.

Chris Conrad

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Daniel Zhu opened to 20,000 in late position and Christopher Conrad three-bet to 72,000 in the cutoff which saw only Zhu call.

The flop rolled out 543 and Zhu checked over to Conrad who bet 50,000. Zhu moved all in for 160,000 total and Conrad called to put him at risk.

Daniel Zhu: A972 All in
Christopher Conrad: AK73

Zhu had flopped the wheel and was scooping both halves, but the turn 2 flipped the script to give Conrad a Steel Wheel. He was locked up to get three-quarters before the river 8 peeled off and he quartered Zhu's stack to leave him short.

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Action was picked up on the turn in a three-way pot between Christopher Alcindor on the button, Max Pescatori in the big blind, and James Woods in the hijack.

The board read 6QK9 and action checked around to Woods. With 60,000 in the center, Woods potted all in for his last 43,000 and Alcindor quickly folded.

"Ok, I'll gamble with you," said Pescatori as he stuck out a stack of red chips.

Max Pescatori: K742

Woods had turned a straight against Pescatori's top pair flush draw combo, and it held up on the river 4 for Woods to double.

"Wow this is exhausting," Woods said as he excitedly stacked up his chips "I'm going to just go back to jumping out of airplanes."
