Trad Takes a Big One

Level 27

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Bashar Trad raised to 140,000 first to act and was called by Derek Bugg on the button and Sterling Lopez in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Lopez checked to Trad, who continued for a pot-sized bet of 480,000 on the K84 flop. Bugg called and Lopez folded.

The J fell on the turn and Trad announced he was all in for 850,000 total — sending Bugg deep into the tank.

Bugg eventually called the clock on himself, which was ruled wasn't allowed, so a tablemate called the clock on him for him.

Before the count could end, Bugg laid his hand down and Trad was sent the large pot without a showdown.

Brown moved all in on the Q turn for 1,875,000 effective to see Konjuhi quickly fold his hand.

"Ace high flush was good," Konjuhi said. In response Brown showed AA as he overtook the chip lead.

Brown and Glaser Spar Off

Level 27

Big O

A couple hands after chopping up a chunk of Dennis Weiss' chips in a pot, Benny Glaser and Tyler Brown were clashing again, this time with Brown on the button and Glaser in the big blind.

Brown raised to 100,000 and Glaser defended his big blind to see a flop of 493.

Both players checked the flop to the turn 9 that saw Glaser lead out of 180,000. Brown raised up to 550,000 and Glaser pondered his decision for some time before tossing his hand into the muck.

Level 27
Bart Hanson
Bart Hanson

Omaha Hi-Lo

Abdyl Konjuhi raised on the button and was three-bet by Bart Hanson in the small blind. It was folded back to Konjuhi, who called.

Konjuhi called a bet from Hanson on the 56Q flop and then raised a bet from Hanson on the 8 turn. Hanson went all in for a bit more and Konjuhi called to put Hanson at risk.

Bart Hanson: A842All in
Abdyl Konjuhi: A973

Konjuhi held a straight, but Hanson held the low for a likely chop pot.

"Deuce ball, corner pocket!" Konjuhi shouted before the river.

Sure enough, the 2 fell on the river — leaving Konjuhi with the best low to eliminate Hanson in 20th place.

Level 27

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

Three ways on a flop of J26, Benny Glaser checked from the big blind and Michael Lacer checked from early position to Abdyl Konjuhi, who bet 190,000. Glaser and Lacer both called.

It was again checked to Konjuhi on the 5 turn and he bet 750,000. Glaser folded and Lacer went all in for 830,000 total. Konjuhi called and a showdown was held.

Lopez Takes Half

Level 27

Omaha Hi-Lo

Sterling Lopez raised from under the gun and Thomas Taylor three-bet in the cutoff which saw Derek Bugg call in the small blind and Lopez call behind him.

The flop rolled out 982 and Bugg checked over to Lopez who bet, getting calls from both Taylor and Bugg.

On the turn 7, Bugg checked a second time over to Lopez who bet and Taylor raised. Bugg called the raise and Lopez raised all in, getting calls from both players.

Taylor bet the river 9 and Bugg quickly tossed in a blue chip to call.

Sterling Lopez: J1032 All in
Thomas Taylor: AK73
Derek Bugg: AK43

Taylor took three-quarters of the last bet from Bugg as they both shared the nut low (ace-trey) with Taylor having two pair to go with it, but they only got one quarter of the main pot each as Lopez' jack-high straight scooped the high.
