Kristen Foxen, "Focus on the Process"
Canadian Kristen Foxen is back on the felt and ready for another deep run at the World Series of Poker. Her approach to the game is as grounded as it is strategic—she emphasizes focusing on the process rather than the outcome, a mindset she supports through visualization, positivity, and a balanced perspective on both poker and life.
When she’s not at the tables, Foxen enjoys the local Las Vegas food scene, with Café Breizh in Summerlin topping her list of favorite spots. As for tournaments, outside of the iconic Main Event, she especially looks forward to the $10,000 6-Max No-Limit Hold’em Championship and the $25,000 High Roller 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em events that suit her aggressive, high-level style of play.
If she weren’t competing at the highest levels of poker, Foxen says she’d pursue a career as a nutritionist or personal trainer—unsurprising given her focus on health and mental performance.
A fierce competitor, Kristen Foxen continues to be an inspiration to women in poker around the world, both for her results and her unshakable presence at the table.
