Claassen turned over K♠5♦ for a pair of kings, but Friedman had A♣A♥ in the hole. Friedman ended up improving to two pair on his 7♣7♦4♦4♥Q♥ board, while Claassen had 3♠2♦J♥5♦ and squeezed his last card, throwing the Q♥ into the muck on his way to the exit.
"Old faithful has never let me down," Friedman said about the Stud round.
