Buchalter Goes From Three to Pat

Level 2

Badacey

Jerry Wong raised from the hijack, Yehuda Buchalter called in the small blind, and Andrew Park called in the big blind, fresh off his third-place finish in the $1,500 Dealers Choice.

Buchalter and Park drew three and Wong drew two before the action checked around.

Buchalter now stood pat much to the surprise of his tablemates. Before the other players declared, Buchalter tossed out a bet.

"Not time for that yet, sir," advised the dealer.

"I don't care what they do. I'm betting," replied Buchalter.

Park took one and Wong took two before both of them called Buchalter's bet.

Buchalter remained pat while the others took one and the action checked around. Buchalter tabled 9753A for a nine low and nine badugi which was good enough to scoop multiway.

An Ode to Rounders as Wells Drags a Small One

Level 2

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ali Eslami opened the hijack to 700 and Robert Wells called in the big blind.

On the 932 flop, Eslami continued for 1,500 before Wells cut out a check-raise to 4,500.

Eslami peeked at his cards before he joked, "It was the Oreo wasn't it?" as he split open the Oreo in his hand and folded. Teddy KGB would be proud that his legacy still holds strong to this day.
