It appeared grim for Phovieng Keokham when he jammed from under the gun and was called by the chip leader Shaun Colquhoun in middle position.

Colquhoun had Keokham in rough shape, but a flop of 9♦6♥8♠ gave Keokham some hope with a gutshot to a straight.

The 7♥ turn did not change anything, but Keokham found lightning in a bottle when the 10♦ rolled over on the river, giving him a straight to crack Colquhoun's queens.

With action folded to the blinds, Michael Coombs raised to 1,000,000 from the small blind and Francois Truong, covered by the bet, made the call.

Although Coombs hit middle pair on the 9♠8♣7♠ flop, Truong's pocket tens held up. The runout of 3♥4♣ didn't help Coombs, giving Truong a much needed double.

Shaun Colquhoun made it 100,000 to go from under the gun and Angelo Perez jammed from the big blind for 170,000. Colquhoun called.

If Colquhoun could hold with king-high, then the remaining players would be on the unofficial final table.

The flop came down Q♣J♥7♦ to put Perez in the lead with a pair of sevens. The Q♥ on the turn gave Colquhoun some extra outs, and he managed to find one on the J♣ river. Colquhoun counterfeited Perez's pair of sevens, and only ten remained.

Shaun Colquhoun's surge continued as he sent Jeremy Geist packing.

Colquhoun opened the action with a raise to 150,000 from early position.

Geist peeked at his cards and chose to commit the rest of his stack for a total of 450,000.

Colquhoun pushed a call to the middle creating a showdown in the late stages of the tournament.

Geist was in a prime position to double up but the flop of 3♥4♣A♣ gave Colquhoun a gutshot to the wheel.

The 3♠ turn was safe for Geist, but the 2♣ river sunk his hand eliminating him in 12th place. Geist earned $3,074 for his finish.

Wang was behind, but she did have two live cards to work with. However, the board ran out 8♠7♥5♦J♠10♠, which gave Colquhoun the winner with a pair of jacks. The pot was sent over to Colquhoun, and Wang headed to cashier's desk to claim her 13th place prize money.
