Calderon Survives Three-Way All-In

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The hand was already underway with three players involved. Joshua Calderon was all-in for 3,100 from the cutoff, and action was on Gregory Carlin, who made the call, putting Calderon’s tournament life at risk. Ryan Darby, in the hijack, also called, taking the trio to the flop.

Both Carlin and Darby checked the 72J flop and again on the 4 turn. On the 7 river, Carlin checked a final time, but Darby seized the moment and fired 15,000, forcing Carlin to fold.

Calderon tabled AJ, good for top pair, and Darby instantly mucked. However, Michael Baily at the table, after a quick apology, reminded him to show his hand. Darby revealed A6.

When You Know, You Know

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Action folded to Joshua Morgan in the cutoff who raised to 1,300. Allan Kwong reraised him from the button to 3,500. Morgan completed, and they went heads-up to a flop.

A104 was the flop these players saw. Morgan checked, Kwong bet 2,700, and Morgan made his move going all in for a total of 20,500. Kwong hesitated for a brief second, then made the call putting himself at risk.

Joshua Morgan: QJ
Allan Kwong: AQ All in

The brutal K peeled off on the turn, and Kwong's only two outcomes became chop or lose.

The 8 river was no help for Kwong, and he was sent to the rail.

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has officially launched its new WSOP+ app for the 2025 series in Las Vegas, promising to dramatically improve the player experience by reducing wait times and streamlining event access.

Available now for iOS and Android, the WSOP+ app allows players to pre-register for live events, skip lengthy registration lines, and receive real-time updates about seat availability through a virtual queue and push notifications. The app also becomes a central hub for all WSOP essentials, including event schedules, structure sheets, chip counts, rules, daily results, prize payouts, and more.

"WSOP+ will further elevate the WSOP experience for all of our players," said Ty Stewart, CEO of the World Series of Poker. "Not only can our community now save time and effort by registering in advance for their favorite tournaments, but the app will also showcase WSOP content and all of the important event information that participants are eager to have at their fingertips!"

Why Shaun Deeb isn't as 'Amped Up' for the World Series of Poker (WSOP) This Year

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb began his chase for the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Player of the Year award on Tuesday. But he still isn't satisfied with the scoring system he believes "punishes" him, and he appears to be less enthusiastic about the start of the Series than in previous years.

The six-time bracelet winner, who spoke to PokerNews on a break, entered Day 1a of Event #1: $1,000 Mystery Millions. He skipped out on the 25k Fantasy Draft, which took place the same day down the road at Aria on the Las Vegas Strip. Deeb explained he didn't draft a team because "there's just too many teams this year."
