Richard Crushed in Two Hands

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

In two hands Joel Vazquez eliminated Luke Richard to lead Table #638 to heads-up.

Joel Vazquez : KQ All in
Luke Richard: A2

Vazquez immediately caught a pair on the Q58 flop. The runout 96 didn't help Richard resulting in Vazquez doubling up. He was so happy with his double up that he jumped around a bit to express his joy and excitement before going back to his seat.

On the very next hand, they were once again in a showdown, now with Richard at risk.

Luke Richard: KK All in
Joel Vazquez: 99

Richard was looking forward to a double up when his kings held up on the flop 4A2. It also gave him a flush draw which made him the favorite in the hand. Nothing changed when the 4 fell.

But Vazquez caught a set on the 9 river evoking a cheer out of him and a visible sigh of frustration from Richards. Richard quietly left as Vazquez scooped the pot.
