Lamprea Makes Chip Jump
Level 14
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Limits: 4,000-14,000
Juan Lamprea three-bet legendary player Sam Farha preflop with a 48,000-chip raise. Farha, after shuffling his chips for a moment, made the call.
The flop of A♥9♠3♦ drew a pot-sized, 106,000-chip raise from Lamprea. Farha counted out the requisite chips for the call, studied the board for a long while, then decided to hold onto them. He folded.
On the next hand, Lamprea faced off with Mark Roland, who went all in after the flop A♠A♥8♠ hit the board.
Mark Roland: A♣J♥10♣4♣
Juan Lamprea: A♦K♦Q♦Q♥
Lamprea turned aces full of kings to knock Roland out of the tournament.
