Day 2 Completed
The penultimate day has concluded in Event #21: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better here at the 2025 World Series of Poker, hosted at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. After ten action-packed levels, only 11 players remain from 176 hopefuls who had advanced to Day 2.
Zachary Zaret finished the night with the chip lead after bagging 7,060,000, worth 118 big blinds going into the final day. Zaret started the day as one of the shortest stacks with just six big blinds. He steadily increased his stack throughout the early parts of the day before finding himself in a massive three-way all in after dinner break. Zaret hit running cards to make a Broadway straight, eliminating Jake Schwartz and ascending to the top of the counts in the process. Zaret never looked back from there, eliminating several players after the three-table redraw en route to bagging the chip lead.
Zaret is most closely followed by Bryce Yockey with 4,100,000 while Ronnie Tate rounds out the top three after ending the night with 3,855,000. Other notables still in contention include Christopher Vitch, Calvin Anderson and Marco Johnson.

Darryll Fish: A♦A♣J♦2♥
Justin Liberto: A♠Q♥5♠4♦
Liberto had some outs after the J♥9♥6♠Q♣ turn paired him, but the river came a meaningless 8♠, doubling up Fish with his aces.
