Survive and Advance

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Claudio Elizalde
Claudio Elizalde

Claudio Elizalde survived three all-in moves in the span of four hands, leading to a pay jump that left him more than pleased.

In the last of the trilogy, Elizade raised from middle position to 40,000. Jared Hemingway reraised and Randen Honigman went all-in over the top.

Elizalde still had four 4,000 chips remaining and he took a moment before making the call. Hemingway called the remainder of Honigan's pot donation and the cards were show.

Randen Honigman: A872All in
Jared Hemingway: AJ42

The runout was odd in that through the turn the board showed 101055 and neither of the three players had a five or a 10. The river brought the 4, to give Elizalde a split with Hemingway, and Honigman an exit.

When the hand began, there were 49 players remaining in the field, and Elizade was the short stack. When the field was down to 40, he was still playing.
