Anderson Scores a Double Knockout

Calvin Anderson opened to 60,000 from under the gun and received calls from Filippos Stavrakis in middle position and William Forrest in the small blind before Maxx Coleman three-bet to 300,000 from the big blind. Anderson called, Stavrakis folded and Forrest called.

The flop came Q♦10♦6♠ and Forrest checked. Coleman shoved for 530,000, Anderson called and Forrest, who had 110,000 left, also called, putting himself at risk.

Forrest had backdoor draws to the spade-flush and the nut-low, Coleman had an overpair with a Broadway gutshot and Anderson had a diamond-flush draw and backdoor nut-low draw. The rest of the board ran out 8♣8♦ giving Anderson running trips to send both opponents to the rail and scoop the pot.
