Ariel Mantel Eliminated in 21st Place ($9,851)
Level 23
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Ariel Mantel opened with a preflop raise from middle position, and got a solo caller in Martin Schamaun. After the flop of K♣8♣A♦, Schamaun acted quickly firing 200,000 chips, and Mantel raised.
Schamaun called to the turn of J♦. The river 8♠ left no low available, and Schamaun showed A♥K♠6♦3♦ for two pair. Mantel's A♣2♣3♣Q♥ was no good, leaving him very short.
After the hand, Mantel had just one big blind (30,000) and was in that seat the next hand. His 8♠8♣6♣5♦ didn't connect with the board of 2♥4♦Q♣K♥Q♠ and he was knocked out.
