Zaret Surges to the Front

Ronnie Tate jumpstarted the hand, betting 320,000 preflop. Darryll Fish and Zachary Zaret called from the small and big blinds, respectively.

The flop hit 5♦9♠J♦ and play was checked around. When the 2♣ landed on the turn, Zaret asked for the size of the pot and bet it, 1,080,000. Tate made the call, Fish elected not to swam away.

The Q♣ hit on the river, and Zaret slowly checked. Tate didn't think about it took long before sliding a stack of 100,000 chips into the pot for a raise of 2 million. Zaret snap- called it.
