Aldrige Falls to Vornicu

Level 5 : Limits 600/1,200, 0 ante

George Mesi raised on the button and in the small blind, Ken "Teach" Aldridge was all in for 300 with Valentin Vornicu calling in the big blind behind him.

Aldridge drew two while both Vornicu and Mesi drew one with all action checking around.

On the second draw, everyone drew one and Vornicu bet which Mesi called.

Vornicu stood pat after Aldridge stood pat while Mesi drew one, then folded to Vornicu's bet.

Ken "Teach" Aldridge: K753 All in
Valentin Vornicu: 10752

The ten-seven for Vornicu was good enough to scoop Aldridge's king-seven and the WSOP bracelet winner exited the tournament.

Siegel drew one and Kelsall stood pat, which saw the same betting action as the prior street.

On the third draw, Siegel drew one again and Kelsall stood pat. Siegel folded to Kelsall's bet after showing a 7.

"Show me an ace of spades," Siegel asked, to which Kelsall obliged, showing an A.

A Pot For Yu

Level 4 : Limits 500/1,000, 0 ante

David Funkhouser raised under the gun and Robert Mizrachi called in the hijack, prompting Sean Yu in the cutoff to three-bet. Mark Herman in the big blind called, with Funkhouser and Mizrachi coming along for the ride.

Herman and Funkhouser drew two with Mizrachi and Yu both drawing one, and action checked around to Yu who bet, folding out nobody.

Funkhouser was still drawing two on the turn while Herman and Mizrachi both drew one and Yu stood pat. Action checked around to Yu a second time who bet and everyone called.

On the final draw, Funkhouser and Mizrachi both drew one while Herman and Yu both stood pat. Yu bet again when action checked around to him and only Herman called.

Yu tabled 6532 for a six-five and Herman tossed his hand into the muck.
