Rheem Lays Down a Monster

Level 26
Nicholas Guagenti

Chino Rheem: 85 / 6J34 / 5
Nick Guagenti: Q4x / A436 / 2

Nick Guagenti completed and called when Chino Rheem raise.

The action checked through to sixth street where Guagenti check-called a bet.

Fireworks then ignited on seventh street. Guagenti bet, then re-raised after Rheem made it two bets.

"F****** brutal," bemoaned Rheem as he tanked for several minutes.

Guagenti then flashed the 2 from his downcards.

"Why'd you just do that? asked Rheem, as he turned over the 5.

"I feel I'm being nitrolled again," said Guagenti, referring to a hanf earlier where Rheem tank-called with a flush.

Rheem then turned over the 85, showing he did indeed have a flush.

"He's got it, obviously he's got it...this is going to be painful if you don't have it," said Rheem as he returned his board to the dealer, saving a good chunk of his last 750,000.

Guagenti did have him beat as he showed he had the Q2 for a better flush, which he admitted he caught on the river.
