Michael Christ Eliminated in 17th Place ($12,209)

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Michael Christ
Michael Christ

Ryan Hoenig raised to 150,000 and Michael Christ defended his big blind.

Heads up on a flop of K102, Christ check-called a bet of 150,000.

Christ took the initiative on the 2 turn and bet 300,000. Hoenig called.

The river peeled the Q and Christ cut out 500,000 and pushed it forward.

Hoenig went deep into the tank bemoaning his decision.

"I don't know what to do here..." but eventually he flicked in the call and Christ responded, "Good call.".

Michael Christ: A10643 All in
Ryan Hoenig: AA1075

Hoenig's aces were good to scoop the pot and Christ was left short.

The Very Next Hand

Christ was unable to get a piece of the pot against Lawrence Brandt 2108 when the board completed 4 and 5.

Lawrence Brandt: A6442

Christ's hand quickly hit the muck and he, unfortunately, won't be the back-to-back Big O champion.
