WSOP bracelet winner Calvin Anderson bet pot on the button which saw Tim Krist in the small blind move all in for 600,000. Smith folded, and Melendrescruz moved all in for his last 860,000 with Anderson having both of them covered.

Nicholas Grippo was already all-in from the button and was contesting for the main pot of 600,000 on the 5♦A♣J♥ flop. Valentin Vornicu was in the small blind and check-called a bet of 130,000 from Jacob Mendelsohn in the big blind.

Both active players checked the 3♦ turn and when the Q♣ hit the river, Vornicu checked again. Mendelsohn then bet 475,000, and after some consideration, Vornicu folded.

"Phew. I guess you win,", said Mendelsohn to Grippo. Mendelsohn then showed A♠8♥8♠7♥ for a pair of aces, and Grippo flipped 5♣4♣3♠2♦ for a wheel to take the main pot.

The flop of 10♠A♥9♣ saw action check through to the turn of 2♠ where Grippo bet 400,000, prompting Mendelsohn to raise to 1,925,000 which only Grippo called.

On the river Q♣, Grippo jammed for the 210,000 effective that Mendelsohn had left and Mendelsohn quickly called.
