Willie Smith raised to 100,000 in late position which saw Raul Melendrescruz three-bet to 375,000 in the cutoff. WSOP bracelet winner Calvin Anderson bet pot on the button which saw Tim Krist in the small blind move all in for 600,000. Smith folded, and Melendrescruz moved all in for his last 860,000 with Anderson having both of them covered.

Grippo Survives

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Nicholas Grippo was already all-in from the button and was contesting for the main pot of 600,000 on the 5AJ flop. Valentin Vornicu was in the small blind and check-called a bet of 130,000 from Jacob Mendelsohn in the big blind.

Both active players checked the 3 turn and when the Q hit the river, Vornicu checked again. Mendelsohn then bet 475,000, and after some consideration, Vornicu folded.

"Phew. I guess you win,", said Mendelsohn to Grippo. Mendelsohn then showed A887 for a pair of aces, and Grippo flipped 5432 for a wheel to take the main pot.

Mendelsohn Doubles Through Grippo

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Nicholas Grippo raised in early position to 125,000 and Jacob Mendelsohn in late position called with Daniel Termini calling on the button.

The flop of 10A9 saw action check through to the turn of 2 where Grippo bet 400,000, prompting Mendelsohn to raise to 1,925,000 which only Grippo called.

On the river Q, Grippo jammed for the 210,000 effective that Mendelsohn had left and Mendelsohn quickly called.

Nicholas Grippo: AQJ9

Grippo's aces and queens were second best to Mendelsohn's set of tens and he raked in a sizable pot to ascend up the counts.

Lin Leaves Kribben With Crumbs

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Matthias Kribben
Matthias Kribben

No-Limit Hold'em

Frank Lin had raised to 325,000 from under the gun and left himself just 10,000 behind. Matthias Kribben shoved for 345,000 from middle position, and when it got back to Lin, he took some time before he dropped in the call.

Frank Lin: 55 All in
Matthias Kribben: A8

It was a flip and one that favored Lin after the 1023 flop. The 2 turn put him one card away from a double-up, and the 6 river confirmed it, leaving Kribben with a very short stack.
