Smith Turns an Ace to Crack Anderson's Queens

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Willie Smith had his stack of around 1,150,000 in the middle from the hijack and was put at risk by Calvin Anderson in the small blind.

Willie Smith: AQ All in
Calvin Anderson: QQ

Smith was way behind and didn't improve on the 56J flop. However, the A on the turn was exactly what he was looking for and left him one card away from a double-up. Anderson only had one out, but couldn't find it as the 4 rolled off, earning Smith some much-needed chips.

Calvin Anderson: 1010

The flop came 3910 and gave Anderson a set, but when the 7 came on the river, it gave Lu some hope of staying alive. The 3 however, fell on the river to fill up Anderson and send Lu to the rail.

Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Easton Oreman
Easton Oreman

Pot-Limit Omaha

Table #610 has been active and there was just a five-way pot and an elimination in the space of two hands.

First, Rostyslav Sabishchenko raised to 250,000 from under the gun and got called by Oliver Tot in the cutoff, Nicholas Naughton on the button, Easton Oreman in the small blind, and Vincent Dale in the big blind.

The A67 flop was checked through and Oreman led for 1,325,000 on the 10 turn. Everybody else folded.

In the very next hand, Caroline Schallock shoved for 230,000 from under the gun and Dale potted from the small blind to isolate.

Caroline Schallock: JJ93 All in
Vincent Dale: AKK5

Schallock was way behind with her pocket jacks and found no help on the 76698 runout, which meant she was eliminated.

The action was folded around to David Robayochurque in the small blind, who pushed all in and had Khaled Aljoma covered in the big blind. Aljoma called.
