Liu's Check-Raise Gets Through

Logan Berger raised to 3,000 in the cutoff and Yu Liu defended in the big blind.

The flop came J4K and Liu check-raised to 6,500 over Berger's continuation bet of 2,500.

Berger thought for a brief moment before giving up his hand.

Action went three-ways to a flop of 923 in a hand between Jeffrey Aaron in early position, Jeremy Kolb in the cutoff, and Zengyong Lin on the button. Aaron was already all in and at risk for his last 23,500.

Kolb checked-called Lin's all in of 23,000 for the side pot to put Lin at risk as well.

The board ran out A, 7 improving Lin to a set of aces. There were no spades to be found in Aaron's hand and he was sent to the rail.

Mass max late registration in a 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event on Sunday forced tournament staff to redraw seats for the entire field on Day 2.

Event #26: $25,000 High Roller, not to be confused with the $25,000 High-Roller 6-Max that ended on Saturday, had 300 entries through Day 1. But registration remained open for one full level on the tournament's second session.
