Day 2 saw 225 competitors return to the arena in the hope of taking one step closer to a six-figure score and a coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
Only 17 players survived Day 2, and leading the charge into Day 3 is Jon Vallinas. With lifetime earnings of more than $2,500,000, Vallinas is no stranger to big field events. His best run to date gave him a second-place finish in a WSOP Paradise event for $622,340.
Hot on his heels, David McGowan (6,215,000) and Travis Hartshorn (4,865,000) complete the podium places, but there are a host of players visible in Vallinas’ rear view mirror.
