With roughly 1,500,000 in the pot, Galiana checked to Roberts, who decided to check back on a flop of J♣8♦A♦.

Action went check-check when the 5♠ hit the turn and the 8♣ fell on the river, allowing Roberts to take it down with his sevens.

The flop came A♥K♥Q♠, giving both players a pair, and Roberts checked. Mao then bet 300,000 and Roberts check-raised to 850,000. Mao called with his king.

A J♣ on the turn gave Roberts two pair and he fired out 550,000, which got a quick fold out of Mao.

All players checked when the 8♣ hit the turn and checked again when the 8♦ fell on the river. Galiana scooped this pot with the best ace-high.

The flop came 8♣6♠5♥ and Galiana led out with his straight for 350,000, only for Mao to raise to 900,000. Galiana just called.

A 3♠ dropped on the turn and after Galiana checked, Mao continued to bluff with a bet of 800,000. Galiana then check-raised to 1,600,000 and Mao, with 2,700,000 remaining in his stack, eventually folded.

Normand and Roberts checked again when the A♦ hit the turn. Roberts decided to lead for 700,000 when the 4♠ was dealt on the river. Normand went deep into the tank but decided to fold.

Normand had the lead with his ace-high and stayed in front after the deal spread J♦3♠3♣. A 5♣ on the turn paired Normand, but didn't change the fact that Mao needed a ten or a nine to stay alive.

Unfortunately for the Mao, a Q♦ rolled off on the river, meaning he was out in 4th.

Frederic Normand limped in from the small blind with 6♦4♣ and Antonio Galiana checked behind in the big blind with K♥3♦.

They both flopped a piece on 4♥7♠K♠ and checked to the 4♦ turn. Normand fired out 250,000 with his trips and Galiana called to the 9♥ river. Normand put in a sneaky check and Galiana bet 875,000, then was faced with a raise as Normand made it 3,175,000.

Galiana was in the tank for around two minutes and didn't look any closer to making a decision. Eventually, after a further few minutes, Galiana did eventually lay it down.
