Day 3 of Event #3: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed at the 2025 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas kicks off at 12 p.m. local time, with 25 players vying to be among the last five standing from the field of 693.
Spanish standout Antonio Galiana holds the chip lead with a hefty stack of 3,615,000, trailed closely by Georgios Sotiropoulos with 3,045,000 and Bradley Gafford with 2,445,000. Each of these players has already made their mark on the felt, and will be focused on turning their deep runs into a shot at WSOP gold and the $582,008 that comes with it.

Renji Mao (2,045,000) and Michael Moncek (1,805,000) remain very much in the hunt, each showing the grit and timing needed to haul in huge pots under pressure. Mao in particular made a statement late on Day 2 when he picked up pocket aces and eliminated both Frank Lagodich and Thomas Cazayous, who had both moved all in holding pocket kings.
The remaining players have locked up $18,736, but they will all be eyeing up the first-place prize of $582,008. All eight final table players will receive more than $50,000, with the top six locking up a handsome six-figure score.

Play resumes at noon inside the Horseshoe Events Center, where the plan is to play down to five players. The blinds will start at 10,000/25,000 with a 25,000 big-blind ante, and players will play six levels before taking a 60-minute dinner break.
Despite there being an overnight seat redraw, the players will redraw for seats again when they are down to the last three tables with 24 players remaining.

Antonio Galiana raised from early position to 50,000, and Benjamin Palmer called from the big blind. The flop came 10♣2♦10♥ and Palmer check-called Galiana's 35,000 continuation bet. The turn brought the 8♣ and both players checked.
Palmer lead out for 95,000 on the river when the 2♣ fell, and Galiana called, but instantly mucked his hand when he saw Palmer turn over the 10♦J♥ for flopped trips.

Christian Roberts: Q♠Q♥
The board ran out 8♦5♠3♦J♣4♣, offering no help to Langianese and sealing his elimination. Roberts' queens held strong, and Langianese made his way to the rail.

Georgios Sotiropoulos raised from the button to 55,000 only to face a three-bet from Andrew Kim in the small blind to 140,000. Sotiropoulos called.
The flop came 6♠7♥5♠ and Kim led out for 130,000, which Sotiropoulos called. The turn brought the 3♥, and again Kim led out, this time for 180,000. Again, Sotiropoulos flat-called.
The river brought the 5♣, and Kim moved all in, Sotiropoulos snap-called.
Andrew Kim: A♥K♦
Georgios Sotiropoulos: 5♥6♥
Sotiropoulos rivered a full house, which crushed Kim's ace-king and sent him to the rail.
