Just five players remain in the hunt for gold from the 693-player field as Event #3: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em at the 2025 World Series of Poker plays down to a winner today at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. Each of them is now guaranteed a six-figure payout from the $3,720,960 prize pool, but all eyes are on the $582,008 top prize and a prestigious WSOP gold bracelet.
Leading the charge is Christian Roberts, who bagged a towering 10,075,000 chips heading into the final session. The Venezuelan player is no stranger to deep WSOP runs, having cashed more than 60 times in bracelet events. He claimed his first bracelet in 2023 and is now in prime position to capture a second, along with maximum points for his 25K Fantasy team, Girl Dads.

Antonio Galiana (8,430,000) and Renji Mao (6,340,000) sit right behind him and both have strong poker resumes of their own. Galiana won his first bracelet just last year in the $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em, while Mao took down a massive $800 Deepstack event in 2023 and has since become one of China’s most consistent performers. France’s Gaetan Balleur (5,160,000) and Canada’s Frederic Normand (4,675,000) round out the final five, with plenty of room to maneuver as they chase down the leaders.
Each of the five finalists is now guaranteed $137,948, but there’s still plenty to play for. The next pay jump awards $191,550, followed by $270,407 for third and $387,979 for the runner-up. At the top of the payout ladder sits the $582,008 first-place prize and the honor of becoming a WSOP bracelet winner.
